What is USDC?: A stablecoin: a crypto token made by Circle that is designed to always be worth one US dollar. It lives on a blockchain, here the Base network.
Who holds my crypto?: You do. Your wallet is locked with your fingerprint on your own device. We never hold your USDC and we cannot move it.
How do I turn it into local money?: Send it to an exchange or a P2P market that accepts USDC on Base, then sell it there for your local currency. Use Withdraw in your wallet.
What if someone else opens my link?: Whoever opens the whole link first can claim it. Share it only with the person you are paying.
Is this real money?: Not yet. This is a test version on a test network. The USDC here has no real value.
